About Solitaire
Solitaire is the classic Klondike card game, the one many of us first played on a family computer, made calm and easy on the eyes. The cards are large, with big numbers and suit symbols you can read at a glance, on a soft green table. You can switch to a sepia or dark theme, make the card text larger, and turn on four-color suits so hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades are never confused.
Just tap a card and it jumps to the best place, or drag it if you prefer. Tap the deck to draw one card at a time, or switch to the classic Draw 3. Undo is unlimited, and the hint button highlights a good move or tells you kindly when there are no moves left. When every card is face up, the game finishes itself and the cards bounce across the screen in the classic winning cascade.
Older versions of solitaire often deal games that simply cannot be won. Here, Winnable deals is switched on by default: every deal has already been solved by a computer, so there is always a way to win if you find it. There is no timer unless you want one, and Standard or Vegas scoring is available in Settings for those who like a score.
Every day there is a free Daily Deal, a winnable Draw 1 game that is the same for everyone. Win it to build your streak, see your days on a calendar and share your time with friends and family.
How to play Solitaire
- Move all 52 cards to the four piles at the top, one per suit, building from Ace up to King.
- In the seven columns, stack cards down in alternating colors, such as a red 9 on a black 10. You can move a whole run of cards at once.
- Only a King, or a run that starts with a King, can go into an empty column.
- Tap the deck at the top left to draw cards. When it runs out, tap it again to turn the cards over. Tap any card to move it to the best place, or drag it.

Tips and tricks
- Turn over face-down cards whenever you can. Moves that uncover a hidden card are usually the best ones.
- Move Aces and Twos up to the top piles straight away.
- Do not rush to empty a column unless you have a King ready to put in it.
- When you have a choice, take cards from the longest column first. It hides the most face-down cards.
- Stuck? Tap 💡 Hint to see a move, or use ↶ Undo to try a different way. Undo is unlimited.
