About Sea Shot
Sea Shot is a bright, friendly shooting gallery set on a sunny beach. One balloon at a time floats on the waves in front of you, tied to a little striped float, and your job is to pop it with a toy air rifle. Drag in the control pad at the bottom of the screen to move the sight, like a laptop trackpad, then tap the big FIRE button. Your thumb never covers the target, and you can tap the scope to zoom in on far balloons.
Your shot goes exactly where the sight points, so the skill is all in the timing. Every level tells you the wind force on the Beaufort scale, from a glassy calm morning to a Force 5 fresh breeze with whitecaps. The stronger the wind, the more the waves and gusts make the balloon bob up and down and sway from side to side, never quite the same twice. Watch its rhythm, wait for the pause at the top or bottom of a bob and fire. On the first levels the sight turns green when a shot would hit. Every miss leaves a marker and a short tip, and a cheeky seagull may fly through your shot now and then.
How to play Sea Shot
- Drag your thumb in the pad at the bottom of the screen to move the sight. It works like a trackpad, so you can lift and drag again.
- Tap the big FIRE button to shoot. Each level gives you a set number of bullets.
- Pop the number of balloons shown at the top left. A new balloon appears after each pop.
- Tap 🔠to zoom in on far balloons. On a computer the sight follows the mouse: click or press Space to fire, Z to zoom.
Features
- Thumb-friendly controls: a trackpad-style aiming pad plus a big FIRE button
- Aim true and time it: the shot goes where you point, the target never sits still
- Waves and gusts that make balloons bob and sway, from calm (Force 0) to whitecaps (Force 5)
- A green "on target" sight on the first levels that teaches the timing
- Miss markers with tips like "Too early, it bobbed up"
- Balloon pops with confetti, ringing bell buoys and splashes
- 6 beach levels with 1–3 star ratings, with more seas on the way
- Bright cartoon style, no blood: a startled seagull just flaps away
Tips and tricks
- Your shot goes exactly where the sight points, but the balloon keeps moving while the shot flies. Watch its rhythm first.
- Fire at the pause, when the balloon reaches the top or bottom of a bob and turns around.
- The stronger the wind (see the panel at the top), the bigger and less regular the movement.
- A miss leaves a marker and a tip that tells you whether you were off or too early.
Sea Shot FAQ
Is Sea Shot violent?
No. You pop party balloons and ring bell buoys with a toy air rifle. There are no people and no blood, and a seagull you hit just squawks and flies away.
How are stars awarded?
Clear the level for one star. Miss no more than one shot (none on short levels) for three stars, or a couple more for two.
What does the wind force mean?
It is the Beaufort scale sailors use: Force 0 is flat calm, Force 5 is a fresh breeze with whitecaps. Stronger wind makes the balloons bob and sway more.
Will there be more levels?
Yes. This is the first stage. New seas with stronger winds, cannons and ships are on the way.
Is Sea Shot free to play?
Yes. Sea Shot is completely free and runs in your web browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
Can I play Sea Shot on my phone?
Yes. Sea Shot is designed for phones first (portrait, one hand) and also works on tablets and desktop computers with a mouse.
