About Skip Stone
Skip Stone turns the simple joy of skipping stones on a lake into a calm one-finger game. You stand on a pebbly shore and look out over still water. Flick your finger up the screen and the stone flies: a faster flick throws harder and farther, the direction of your swipe picks the line, and a clean, straight flick gives smoother skips. Every touch of the water leaves a ring of ripples and a soft plip that climbs in pitch as the count goes up, until the stone runs out of energy and sinks.
The lake is full of little surprises. Land on a lily pad or a floating log for a free bounce, splash through a glowing ripple to double every skip, or steer under a passing seagull and it will grab your stone and carry it far across the water. Watch out for the dark shadow of a fish that leaps up to block your throw, reeds and islands that stop the stone, and ducks that get in the way. Tap right as the stone touches the water for a PERFECT skip, and chain them for bonus points. Play 24 levels across Dawn Lake, Sunset Bay and Firefly Pond, throw freely in the relaxing Free Throw mode, or come back every day for the Daily Throw.
How to play Skip Stone
- Flick your finger quickly up the screen from the stone to throw it. A faster flick throws harder and farther.
- Swipe slightly left or right to choose the line. A straight swipe gives smoother skips that last longer.
- While the stone is flying, drag left or right to steer it a little.
- Tap the screen right as the stone touches the water (when the gold ring closes) for a PERFECT skip.

Can I fail a level?
No. You have unlimited throws, and after a few misses a dotted helper line shows where to aim. Clearing the goal earns at least one star.
What is the Daily Throw?
A new lake every day that is the same for every player. You get three throws, your best one counts, and you can share your result and keep a daily streak.
