About Pixel Pop
Pixel Pop is a calm color puzzle with a satisfying payoff. Each level is a picture made of hundreds of colored pixels with a conveyor belt running around it. Below it wait little fluffy shooters, each with a color and an ammo number. Tap one and it hops onto the belt, rides a full lap around the picture and pops every outer pixel of its color that it passes.
The trick is the order. A shooter can only reach the outside layer, so the right shooter at the right moment opens the picture up for the next one. A shooter that still has ammo after its lap waits in one of five slots, and if all five fill up the level is over. Clear every pixel and the full illustration is revealed with a sparkle and goes into your album. There are 23 hand-tuned pictures that grow from an 18 by 18 apple to a 30 by 30 rainbow, plus a new Daily Picture every day with a shareable result and streak.
How to play Pixel Pop
- Tap the front shooter of any column (or a shooter waiting in a slot). It hops onto the belt and rides one lap around the picture.
- On its lap it pops the outermost pixel of its color in every row and column it passes, until its ammo runs out.
- A shooter that still has ammo after its lap waits in one of 5 slots. If a shooter comes back and all 5 slots are full, the level is lost.
- Pop every pixel to reveal the full picture and add it to your album.

Tips and tricks
- Look at the outside edge: send the color that is exposed the most.
- Use waiting shooters again as soon as their color is back on the outside.
- Keep at least one slot free when you send a big shooter.
- Fewer slots used means more stars.

Yes. Every picture and shooter queue is checked by a solver before it ships, and the Daily Picture is generated and checked the same way.
