About Cozy Knits

Cozy Knits is a calm yarn puzzle about taking things apart, one strand at a time. Each level is a little knitted object, like a beanie, a mitten, a sock, a cupcake or a teddy bear, made of colorful strands of yarn that overlap each other. Tap a loose end and that strand unravels row by row and winds onto the wooden spool of the same color at the bottom of the screen. Fill a spool with three strands and it pops away to make room for a new color.

The puzzle is in the order. A strand that lies under another one is stuck until the yarn on top is gone, and a strand with no matching spool has to wait in a small tray with five slots. Fill the tray and you are tangled up, so it pays to plan a few moves ahead and feed the spools first. Clear every strand and a cute needle-felted pet that was hiding inside pops out: a kitten, a puppy, a bunny, a fox, a panda, a hamster, a hedgehog and a lamb all wait to be freed and move into your Pet Basket. Play 24 levels that slowly add more colors and layers, or come back every day for a new Daily Knit with a shareable result and a streak.

How to play Cozy Knits

1. Tap a loose yarn end. Strands with nothing on top of them show a small glowing knob at their end.
2. The strand unravels and winds onto the spool of the same color. Three strands fill a spool, and a full spool is replaced by a new color.
3. If no spool matches, the yarn waits in the tray. When a matching spool arrives, waiting yarn jumps onto it by itself.
4. Clear every strand to free the pet inside. If all five tray slots fill up, the level is lost and you can try again.

Tips and tricks

• Feed the spools first: tap strands that match a spool before strands that would go to the tray.
• Look at which colors are coming: a spool that is almost full will soon make room for a new color.
• Strands drawn slightly darker are covered. Clear the ones on top of them first.
• Stuck? The 💡 button shows a safe next move (a level finished with a hint earns up to 2 stars).
