How to print

About the levels
Levels are graded by the techniques needed, not just by how many numbers are given. Easy puzzles (about 37 numbers given) only need singles, Medium needs pairs and pencil notes, and Hard and Expert need patterns like the X-Wing or XY-Wing. Never any guessing. New to Sudoku? Read how to play Sudoku.
Tips for solving on paper
- Use a pencil with an eraser, and write small candidate numbers in the corners of a square only when you need them.
- Scan each box for each number from 1 to 9 in turn. This finds most hidden singles.
- Tick off each number in the margin once all nine copies are placed.
- Keep the answer key folded away and check one box at a time if you want to avoid spoilers.
