How it works
- A new puzzle every day at midnight UTC, on a different theme each day.
- Every Daily is a Medium puzzle: a 10×10 grid with 11 words, across, down and diagonal.
- Everyone gets the same grid, so you can compare times with friends and family.
Tips for the Daily grid
- Read the whole word list first and notice the theme: it hints at the length and shape of the words.
- Find the longest words first, then words with rare letters such as Q, Z, X, J or K.
- Remember the Daily has diagonal words, so sweep the diagonals once you have done the rows and columns.

How streaks are counted
Your streak counts the days in a row on which you solved the Daily, using UTC dates. It stays alive until you miss a whole day: if you solved yesterday's puzzle, you can still keep the streak going by solving today's at any time before the next midnight UTC. Your best ever streak is kept separately, so a missed day never erases it. Streaks are stored in your browser on this device.
Streaks and sharing
Solve it on consecutive days to build a 🔥 streak. Your Stats page shows a calendar of solved days and your best times. Share sends a short result like “Word Search Daily #12 ✅ in 4:05”, without giving any words away.
