How it works
- A new deal every day at midnight UTC.
- The layout rotates day by day through Garden, Pyramid, Cross and the full Turtle, so some days are quick and some are a bigger project.
- Every Daily is generated to be solvable, and everyone gets the same tiles.
Tips for the Daily Layout
- Check the start screen to see today's layout: Garden and Pyramid take a few minutes, the 144-tile Turtle much longer.
- Free the tiles on top of stacks and at the ends of long rows first. They block the most tiles.
- When three identical tiles are free, choose the pair that frees more tiles.
- Shuffles are free and keep the deal solvable. Your shared result just shows how many you used, so you can aim for zero.
How streaks are counted
Your streak counts the days in a row on which you solved the Daily, using UTC dates. It stays alive until you miss a whole day: if you solved yesterday's puzzle, you can still keep the streak going by solving today's at any time before the next midnight UTC. Your best ever streak is kept separately, so a missed day never erases it. Streaks are stored in your browser on this device.
Streaks and sharing
Clear the Daily on consecutive days to build your 🔥 streak and fill your calendar in Stats. Share sends a short result such as “Mahjong Daily #12 ✅ Pyramid in 7:20 · 0 shuffles”.
